Privacy Policy

Loyfy is a loyalty card and coupons wallet for iPhone. This policy explains what data Loyfy processes, how it is stored, and the choices you have.

Summary

• No account required — Loyfy does not require sign-up or login.
• iCloud sync — your data is stored in your personal iCloud via Apple CloudKit.
• No external backend — we do not run our own servers to store your cards or coupons.
• No tracking / ads — we do not sell your data or use it for advertising.

Data you create in Loyfy

Loyfy stores information you add, such as:

• Loyalty card details (e.g., title, brand, barcode/QR/Aztec payload and symbology)
• Coupons and voucher details (e.g., title, expiry date, code)
• Optional notes and custom brand information
• Optional voucher images you choose to attach

This data is stored on your device and synchronised to your iCloud account using Apple CloudKit.

Camera & Photos

Loyfy can use the camera and/or your photo library to scan loyalty cards and coupons. The app reads codes (QR, barcode, Aztec) and can extract details from images to help fill forms faster.

Important: Loyfy does not upload your images to our servers because we do not operate a separate backend. Image processing is performed on-device and/or using Apple system frameworks where available.

Location

Loyfy can use your approximate location to help sort cards by nearby stores and show places close to you. Location access is optional. You can use Loyfy without location permissions (some nearby-store features may be limited).

iCloud (CloudKit)

When iCloud sync is enabled, your data is stored in your private iCloud database using Apple CloudKit. Apple may process this data to provide iCloud services (including storage, sync, and reliability). We do not have access to your iCloud account or Apple ID.

Analytics

Loyfy does not include third-party advertising SDKs. If we ever add optional analytics, we will update this policy and provide choices in-app.

Data sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We do not share your loyalty cards, coupons, or images with third parties, except as required to provide iCloud sync via Apple services and as required by law.

Your choices & controls

• Permissions: You can grant or revoke Camera, Photos, and Location access in iOS Settings.
• Delete in-app: You can delete cards/coupons inside Loyfy.
• Delete iCloud data: You can manage iCloud storage in iOS Settings → Apple ID → iCloud → Manage Storage.

Children

Loyfy is not designed to collect data from children. If you are a parent/guardian and believe a child has provided personal data through the app, please contact us.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy to reflect app changes or legal requirements. The “Last updated” date will change accordingly.
